What is Korean lash and brow lamination?
Korean lamination is a multi-step lash and brow treatment that combines styling with hair care.
The treatment does not end after changing the shape of the hairs. Conditioning, moisturising and protecting the hairs after the chemical process are also important parts of the procedure.
This technique is designed for professionals who want to work carefully and precisely. It is important to observe the hair, choose the correct processing time and use conditioning products such as AMINOLIXIR, SAVER and NEXT GEN LAMINATION Repair Lash & Brow.
How to use: Korean lash lamination
- Clean the lashes with professional HERO Shampoo and dry thoroughly.
- For highly porous or damaged lashes, apply a small amount of AMINOLIXIR and allow it to absorb.
- Mix NEXT GEN LAMINATION Activate Pink 1 with NEXT GEN POWDER in a 5:1 ratio. Wait for no longer than one minute to allow the mixture to become thicker and stickier.
- Place Korean lash lift shields on the upper eyelid, for example FLAT or CROWN Pads by Pimp My Lashes.
- Apply NEXT GEN LAMINATION Activate Pink 1 mixed with powder along the full lash line. Press the lashes onto the shield and position them in the correct direction.
- Paper compensators can be used. For thicker lashes or to speed up processing, you can also use an occlusion film.
- Leave the product on for 3 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness and condition of the lashes:
- Thin lashes: 3 to 6 minutes
- Normal lashes: 6 to 10 minutes
- Thick lashes: 10 to 12 minutes
- Remove the product dry.
- Change to a shield that will create the final shape, for example V-shaped Pimp My Lashes shields.
- Apply NEXT GEN LAMINATION Stabilize 2 mixed with NEXT GEN POWDER in a 5:1 ratio or higher along the full length of the lashes. Brush the lashes carefully into position.
- Leave Stabilize 2 on for the same amount of time as Activate Pink 1.
- Remove the product with a damp applicator and tint the lashes.
- Remove excess tint with damp cotton buds. Apply AMINOLIXIR to the lashes and leave it on for a few minutes.
- Apply SAVER mask for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the porosity of the lashes. Remove it dry.
- Apply NEXT GEN LAMINATION Repair Lash & Brow as the final step. The gel moisturises and smooths the lashes and gives them a beautiful wet-look shine. Do not rinse off.
- Tell the client not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment.
How to use: Korean brow lamination
- Clean the brows with professional Shake Shampoo and dry thoroughly.
- For highly porous, damaged or sparse brows, apply a small amount of AMINOLIXIR and allow it to absorb.
- Mix NEXT GEN LAMINATION Activate Pink 1 with NEXT GEN POWDER in a 1:5 ratio and wait for no longer than one minute until the mixture becomes stickier. The product can also be used without NEXT GEN POWDER.
- Apply the product to the brows and shape the hairs in the desired direction using a spoolie or brush.
- For thick hairs, you can use an occlusion film to help speed up the processing time.
- Leave the product on for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the structure and condition of the brow hairs:
- Thin brows: 3 to 6 minutes
- Normal brows: 6 to 8 minutes
- Thick or resistant brows: 8 to 10 minutes
- Remove the product dry.
- Apply NEXT GEN LAMINATION Stabilize 2 and carefully brush the hairs into their new direction.
- Leave Stabilize 2 on for the same amount of time as Activate Pink 1.
- Remove the product with a damp applicator.
- Tint the brows.
- Remove excess tint with damp cotton buds. Apply a small amount of AMINOLIXIR and leave it on for a few minutes.
- Apply SAVER mask for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the porosity of the hair. Remove it dry.
- Finish with NEXT GEN LAMINATION Repair Lash & Brow. It moisturises and conditions the hairs, leaving them soft, flexible and healthy-looking with a gentle shine. Do not rinse off.
Aftercare
Do not get the lashes or brows wet for 24 hours after the treatment.
For brows, avoid rubbing the area and avoid brushing or styling the hairs in a different direction from the shape created during the treatment.
It is also important to explain to the client that home care after lamination can help maintain the condition of the hairs and the treatment result.
For daily aftercare, we recommend AMINOLIXIR or NEXT GEN LAMINATION Repair Lash & Brow.
